Players Pass

Enjoy unlimited access to Bearkat Course with benefits for the whole family.

Players Pass Includes:

  • Preferred Guest Rate of $43 per round (includes cart)

Cost:

  • $500 Enrollment Fee *
  • $199 Monthly Dues

* SHSU Faculty & Staff Exclusive Benefit

The $500 enrollment fee is waived for SHSU faculty and staff who enroll with a 12-month commitment.

Available exclusively to current SHSU faculty, staff, and students.

  • Faculty & Staff: $599 per semester
  • Current SHSU Students: $449 per semester

Players Pass Details

Payment

Monthly fees are collected within the first five (5) days of each month by credit or debit card on file for the players pass. If the payment account does not have sufficient funds to make the full payment or the card has expired, The Bearkat Course Golf Club will attempt to notify the pass holder. The pass holder will then have three (3) business days after notification to make alternate arrangements for the payment. If the pass holder has not arranged payment within three (3) business days of notification, the players pass will be suspended, and the pass holder will pay the amount past due plus a $25.00 service fee to reactivate the players pass.

Resignation

Any pass holder may resign for any reason with thirty (30) day advance written notice to Bearkat Course Golf Club. The entrance fee is non-refundable.

Suspension or Termination

Sam Houston State University and The Bearkat Course Golf Club reserve the right to suspend or terminate a players pass, or any pass holder on the players pass, at any time for a failure to comply with the Bearkat Course Golf Club rules, regulations, procedures or policies (which may be amended as necessary).

Freeze

Pass Holders may temporarily suspend their players pass for up to three (3) months per year for medical reasons only. A written notice must be submitted and approved by the Head Golf Professional thirty (30) days in advance. Extended players pass freezes can be requested in writing and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
