Players Pass

Includes the following for you, your spouse, and eligible dependents:

  • Unlimited Green Fees
  • Unlimited Golf Cart Use
  • Discounted guest rate of $43, including cart

Cost

$500 entrance fee, then $199 monthly

Frequent Player Program Application

SHSU Faculty/Staff/Student Golf Pass

Only available to current SHSU faculty/staff/students.

Includes the following for you:

  • Green Fees & Golf Cart Use
  • Access Times:
    • Monday - Thursday: Unlimited anytime access
    • Friday - Sunday: Restricted to afternoon access (after 12 PM)

Cost

$599 per semester for faculty and staff. An additional $50 discount for current students

Players Pass Details

  • Payment

    Monthly fees are collected within the first five (5) days of each month by credit or debit card on file for the players pass. If the payment account does not have sufficient funds to make the full payment or the card has expired, The Bearkat Course Golf Club will attempt to notify the pass holder. The pass holder will then have three (3) business days after notification to make alternate arrangements for the payment. If the pass holder has not arranged payment within three (3) business days of notification, the players pass will be suspended, and the pass holder will pay the amount past due plus a $25.00 service fee to reactivate the players pass.

  • Resignation

    Any pass holder may resign for any reason with thirty (30) day advance written notice to Bearkat Course Golf Club. The initiation fee is non-refundable.

  • Suspension or Termination

    Sam Houston State University and The Bearkat Course Golf Club reserve the right to suspend or terminate a players pass, or any pass holder on the players pass, at any time for a failure to comply with the Bearkat Course Golf Club rules, regulations, procedures or policies (which may be amended as necessary).

  • Freeze

    Pass holders may temporarily suspend their players pass for up to three (3) months per year for medical reasons only. A written notice must be submitted and approved by the Head Golf Professional thirty (30) days in advance. Extended players pass can be requested in writing and will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
